This painting was painted in Burke County, NC, but the view is of another person's property outside of this area. The painting was created with the property owner's permission. "Dreams" is a painting of hope, affirmation, an acknowledgement that things are not always as they seem. "Dreams" may appear to be the end of the road, but even with an apparent ending, there are always more beginnings to experience. In actuality, the person who owns the property intends to build a house and farm. This image shows the end of the effort in creating a 1/4 mile road, however, it is not the end of the story. This road was created to allow heavy trucks and other machinery to get to the future house location.
